I could not love this place more than I do. We attended a Lavendar themed dinner. The food was amazing and the service outstanding. The owners strolled by to ensure that we were enjoying our experience and share facts about the place with us. I enjoyed the walking path and was completely enchanted by the unique settings and focal points. This place is definitely a labor of love, it shows in every detail.

The "girls" (young and old) in my family attended the fall tea party at Life Under the Oaks last weekend, and we could not have been more delighted. The lavender is beautiful and aromatic, of course. The food was tasty - every single thing they served (I especially like the lavender pumpkin scones and the lavender chicken salad sandwiches). But it's the overall ambience of this venue that is just magical. The little girls in our party dressed in their best "Gone With the Wind" finery and were delighted when they saw a Cinderella coach where they could pose for photos. Everywhere, throughout the farm, are whimsical little touches that just make you think fairies might spend some time here. The playground and the ducks and donkeys (which came right over to the little ones and seemed to enjoy their pets) were icing on the cake. Absolutely lovely place. Had a really amazing Sunday afternoon here with my three boys. I pre-ordered a picnic basket for one (needs to be done 48 hours in advance) and the boys and I had a really nice time just wandering around checking things out. My kids are a bit rambunctious so sort of initially thought I missed the mark with this trip but somehow the entire place just captivated them for 2 hours! maybe it was just a simple tire swing! but for me getting to be in the fresh air with tons of room to roam safely was perfect for the day.

The owners are super kind and on-site and you can tell are putting so much love into the place and it's only going to grow better and better with time. and they're a retired military family which I love! being in a place where someone is fulfilling their dream is really special! The place just exudes calmness and tranquility :D

We didn't do any special events or anything but I just wish this place was closer for us (1 hour away) Or we would be there all the time!

on your way out check out the country store on your left as you leave the lavender farm. super fun place to shop. lots of good Mexican restaurants on the way back in Oracle but didn't get the chance to stop at any of them. biosphere it's so weird you kind of have to stop. ive been living in Tucson for 6 years and never visited up here... Our grandkids spent time at a wonderful place called Art under the Oaks. Caroline is the owner and knows just what to do to make an enjoyable experience for kids. the kids were treated to a great day on her farm in the mountains in Oracle. They had special art projects to do, took a guided nature walk and scavenger hunt, enjoyed a swing in the woods and spent time petting and feeding a wide variety of animals.  We recommend this fun experience for your kiddos.  -  Arlene and Mark

I would like to make a recommendation for Grandparents who have grandchildren visiting for a few days. Our granddaughters spent the day in Oracle at a wonderful place called Art under the Oaks. The girls were treated to a lovely day on a farm in the mountains in Oracle. They had art projects to do, scavenger hunt, and enjoyed a tire swing and spent time petting and feeding a wide variety of animals. I happened, happily upon Art Under the Oaks during the Oracle Artists tour in April and knew immediately that our two granddaughters would have a magical day - which they did. I would HIGHLY recommend this fund day.  - Edie

We had an amazing 5th birthday party for my daughter. Carolyn did so much to make the party special...all we did was show up with food. The kids had so much fun and all the parents commented that is was such a wonderful and unique birthday party. My daughter said it was her best birthday ever.. The decorations Carolyn made were beautiful and the kids loved the animals, the nature walk/treasure hunt, and getting to take their paintings home.
