Due to unforeseen circumstances, we will be closing our current farm to the public. For now, we will be harvesting the lavender and making plans for our future location. Lavender products can still be purchased online.
We will continue to farm lavender & will be at the Heirloom Markets & pop-ups in the Tucson area in the Fall.
As many of you know, I suffer from chronic health issues. This journey for me was very healing sharing our love of art, nature and animals with others. This summer was extremely rewarding seeing people of all ages enjoying the delight of the lavender in full bloom with hundreds of butterflies, moths & bees! It was like a magical storybook! It also has me reflecting on all the lives that have been touched while visiting our farm in the past to include visits from children with the Easter Seals Foundation, Scout Troops, Boys & Girls Clubs, School Field Trips, Nature Clubs, families painting together, teens putting down their mobile devices & interacting, grandmothers in tears because they so enjoyed our Mother's Day Lavender Tea! So many stories.....I hope that people truly enjoyed their time on the farm because they felt our sincerity & knew we were genuine. Our intentions have always been to add beauty & goodness to the world.
We hope our lavender lovers & followers will continue on this journey with us.....participating in near future farm activities. We will keep everyone updated with photos and plans for this exciting new chapter!
Here at Life under the Oaks, we wanted to create an opportunity for people to enjoy various aspects of the farm. We are a family owned farm offering a unique and beautiful setting for friends and family of all ages to gather and enjoy art, farm life, and nature. While listening to live music, dine under the canopy of 100 year old oak trees at a Lavender Inspired Farm to Table Dinner. Peruse our studio/gift shop for art cards or local lavender products on an Open Farm Day. Please take a look at all that we offer on our small family farm. Relax in the lavender field and enjoy this magical natural setting!
